Apologies and A Free Book

Last week, I mentioned I would be participating in IWSG. Then Wednesday arrived and my blog was silent. There was a reason. My dog Miles got sick. Real sick. As it turns out, he has pancreatitis. Miles spent a couple of days in the hospital. He’s home now, but he’s not 100% just yet and still needs lots of TLC. That means this post will be short.

My apologies to Alex and the IWSG crew. Hopefully next month I’ll be able to participate.

Before I go, I would like to mention that my novel Claudia Must Die is currently FREE on Amazon. Sale ends February 14th.

Amazon (US)        Amazon (UK)

Here’s the blurb:

b04ea-claudiamustdie2b-2b252399centsClaudia doesn’t feel like herself anymore—she feels like prey. Her husband’s hired goons have stalked her all the way to Boston and will only stop their pursuit once she is dead.

Divorce is not an option. Instead, she has stolen a bunch of her man’s money to disappear into another life.

In order for Claudia to live, someone else must die. A lookalike college student becomes the target capable of freeing her from an awful marriage.

The plan goes horribly awry. Instead of murdering Claudia’s double, the assassins shoot the woman’s lover who is the cousin of a powerful Irish mobster. Claudia becomes hunted by all involved. Can she survive? Should she?

Hope all of you are well and when things settle down, I’ll pop by to say hello.

    TB,

I’m sorry Miles got sick. One of our Yorkies was sick for about two days and then got over it and now our Golden Retriever is sick. Can dogs spread diseases?

I liked Claudia Must Die a lot. The plot is different from your other books.

    Hope Miles is OK.

Sorry I’m so late to comment. The cover is really eye catching and beautiful. Life happens and we have to step back and sometimes we can’t follow through on commitments. It’s okay and completely understandable. An illness in your family is incredibly hard to handle. Hugs.
