Looking for hosts for a book blog tour

mar-kindleThis December I’m releasing my second novel, Marionette. As part of the promotion of the novel’s release, I’ve been contacting bloggers to participate in a book blog tour, which I’m hoping will run December 2nd-20th. So far I have ten stops scheduled for the tour. If you would be interested in taking part, please leave a comment below or send me an email: tbmarkinson (at) gmail (dot) com

I’m looking to fill the following days:

December 4, 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20

In case you aren’t familiar with a book blog tour, it’s a way for an author to promote a book via the blogosphere.  I’m looking for people who are willing to host, which can include having an interview on your blog, I can write a guest post, or if you would like, you can read and review the book on your blog. I’m open to anything—well almost.

In other book news, my novel, A Woman Lost, will be featured this Tuesday at The Fussy womanlostLibrarian, a new website that offers personalized ebook recommendations. You choose from 30 genres and indicate preferences about content and then the computers work their magic. It’s pretty cool — check it out! www.TheFussyLibrarian.com

If any of you are planning a cover reveal, a book blog tour, are looking for reviewers, or you would like to write a guest post, please let me know. I’m always willing to help out as much as possible.

Again, if you would like to participate in the blog tour, let me know. Hope all of you had a great weekend and that your Monday isn’t too much like a Monday.

  1. I’ve got your books on my list to review as soon as this nanowrimo challenge has finished with me. Don’t know if I’ll get them read in time to do a December blog tour, but what a gift to dive into your words and get out of my own head. It’s a little gift I’m giving myself. Good luck.

Ah, thanks so much for including me on your TBR. I know how busy you are. I hope nano is going well. I admire you! You wouldn’t have to include a review for the blog tour. I could do a guest post or something, but if you are too busy, I totally understand.

Thanks again for everything. I’m excited about your recent success and I hope to dive into your words soon.

Nice. I know I mentioned it a while back .. just wanted to be sure I’m on one of your tour stops 🙂 I’ve never been roadie but I’m multi-talented.

  3. I’m looking forward to your tour. It sounds like a busy month for you…enjoy!

  4. samokan says:

Ok with me if you want to guest post on my blog. Anytime is Okay 🙂

  5. Sherri says:

I’m not sure how this all works but I’d like to help. Maybe you could do a guest post on my blog? Let me know 🙂

    • TBM says:

that would be great. How flexible are you with the dates? I’m waiting to hear back from a couple of people. Can I let you know in a day or two which date works best? I really appreciate this. And if you have a topic for the guest post, just let me know.

      • Sherri says:

That’s fine, just let me know the dates, I’m flexible, although I tend not to post at the weekends generally speaking and the earlier in December the better. I’ll have a think about a topic for a guest post 🙂

      • TBM says:

Sounds good, I’m thinking either the 11th or 12th, which are during the work week. I’m curious about your topic 😉 Will let you know soon and I really appreciate the chance to appear on your blog! it will be an honor.

      • Sherri says:

Yes, either of those dates is fine with me! I am excited about you writing a guest post on my blog, the first time I’ve done this! Actually, for the topic, I’m thinking that since I write about my life in both America and England how about you share something about your take on London as an American living over here? I know my readers would love that as would I! Or just anything writing related. I know you have so much great advice to give all of us! The honour is all mine TB 🙂

      • TBM says:

That sounds like a fun topic! I was in awe when I first arrived and I still am for the most part. Great idea. Thanks so much!

      • Sherri says:

Great, looking forward to it 🙂

  6. I’m setting up a blog tour in December too – would you be interested in swapping posts for a day? I could do the 15th or 19th. Congrats on Marionette and the Fussy Librarian feature!

    • TBM says:

Absolutely! Let’s do the 19th. Which book are you promoting? Are you looking for a review, guest post, interview–I’m flexible. And what would you like to host on your blog: review, interview, guest post? Thanks so much for hosting and for including me in your tour. So exciting!

      • Hey TB, sorry to be so slow getting back to you! I don’t know where this week has gone. But I am totally flexible too, whatever you want to do is fine with me! I’d love to do an interview here if that would work for you, I don’t have that many interviews scheduled so that would be perfect. If that works for you just email me the questions at juliflan@yahoo.com. Oh, and the book I’m promoting is The Ghosts of Aquinnah, it comes out on December 5th.
Just let me know what you want to do on my site, I’m looking forward to hosting you! I have the 19th marked down. 🙂

      • TBM says:

Please don’t apologize. I know how busy you are and I totally understand. I had it on my to do list to email you tomorrow to follow-up so you saved me some work. An interview sounds great. And I don’t have many interviews set up for my tour, so would you be willing to do that? I’ll get the questions to you soon. Let me know if an interview will work on your site. Good luck with everything and thanks so much. I’m really looking forward to this.

  7. Sure, I’d love to interview you! I will get some questions together too. Thanks again, I’m really looking forward to this as well. Thank you!

  8. benzeknees says:

Oh, I’m sorry I’m so late to see this – damn NaNoWriMo! Let me know if you have any dates still left & I will try to help you promote your book if I can.
