Facebook here I come!

I finally did it. I started a Facebook account. I never had a personal one, even though many of my friends bugged me to do so. I struggle keeping up with my blogs and everyday life, I didn’t want to add more social media to bog me down. However, I’ve realized that I needed a business Facebook page for my writing. I’m a little hesitant to announce that I opened one since I think some of my buddies back home will be angry. The good news is that all of my friends support my writing so they might see this as an important step for my career. I hope at least. So here it is: T.B. Markinson. It’s a work in progress and I have a feeling it will change quite a bit over the next couple of months.  Just remember I’m new to Facebook and I may stumble along the way. You should have seen me this morning setting up the account. Let’s just say I’m not that savvy when it comes to computers and social media.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Looks good . .. Facebook. Between the two mediums I choose wordpress but FB has it’s place as it is pretty good for advertising your book . . .

I love the interactions on wordpress and don’t see myself quitting blogging. But I have heard that FB is good for advertising so we’ll see. Thanks for the support.

Congratulations! I finally caved and started my personal FB last year but I want to start a business FB like you have just done. Just one more thing to do 🙂

  8. Congrats and welcome! Facebook is a great tool to share our visions and talents. At the right hands, it becomes a gift and a blessing.

I have a personal account and a Restlessjo page (of course 🙂 ). It’s a nice way to keep in touch with people you don’t really see.

I may start a personal one to keep up with everyone. The business account doesn’t let me interact with “normal” accounts, which is good since it is for business. Who knows. Right now I have too much going on. I hope things are well on your end.
